Mid-Week Workshop

Due to an overwhelming number of enquiries regarding general advice on searching and applying for positions in today’s job market. BRS Recruitment are staging a series of workshops covering the essential requirements in successfully gaining employment.

The Mid-Week Workshop will be an informal study day of no more than 6 people in a group and will cover the following topics:

• Producing an effective Curriculum Vitae
• The importance of a good covering letter
• How to market yourself
• Developing interview techniques

The objective of the day will be for each member of the group to draw up an individual, clear and concise C.V. with Covering Letter and to develop confidence in interview skills and promoting personal attributes, therefore equipping the job seeker with all the necessary tools required in the search of suitable employment.

The workshop will be hosted by our Director, Esther Townrow, a recruitment professional with over 10 years experience, and the group numbers have been kept small to allow everyone some individual attention.

C.V. Writing

If you do not feel that the workshop is for you, we also offer a C V writing service.

This is particularly helpful if you feel your current C. V. needs updating, if you do not yet have a C. V. and/or you do not have the facilities to produce one yourself.

We will design and produce a C. V. and covering letter for you, in an individual style which will represent you in a positive light to any prospective employer, making the most of your attributes and skills. This can be either general or aimed at a particular job vacancy.
